"I often describe my work as walking into a dark tunnel where a person may be stuck, taking their hand, and helping them to walk toward the light that leads the way out. In life, we sometimes feel that we are lost and unable to find our way out of a difficult time or that we are overwhelmed by the process involved in trying to get where we want to be. What we need is a hand to help guide us in the process of finding our way back. I consider myself an instrument in that process."

Dr. Grant enjoys traveling, socializing with family and friends, and engaging in physical activities such as swimming, jogging, weight training, tennis, and golf.
