Our History:

Alliance Clinical Associates began in 1986 as a private practice opened by Dr. Kenneth Phillips in Wheaton. In 1989, he and Jim Cassens, PhD, opened an office together in Danada, in the Central DuPage Hospital (now Northwestern) office building in south Wheaton.

In 1994, the practice grew to include over twenty professionals, expanding their services to provide medical care, counseling and testing to the community and beyond. Adults, children and their families could find the care they needed in a comprehensive mental healthcare practice.

In 2004, Barrett McRay, PsyD, and Steve Jones, LCPC, became the clinical directors of psychological services. Barrett and Steve have provided excellent leadership, growth and expertise for many years.

Today:

Alliance Clinical Associates is a collaborative network of over thirty professional staff. Physicians, psychologists and mental health counselors bring complementary skills for each patient. Together, we can provide the highest quality mental health services possible. Our goal is to help each person achieve greater personal growth, health and wholeness.

Our staff members are all committed to serving patients with a faith sensitive perspective. Some staff have theological training, some teach at Wheaton College, some do research and some serve in various kinds of ministry.
