Tim Shields, M.A., L.C.P.C.

Tim’s fundamental approach to therapy comes from a simple belief that change is possible.

Tim believes that when clients feel truly understood and accepted, transformation begins to happen. Regardless of whether someone is experiencing an incredible challenge, wanting to improve relationships, or handling ordinary life stressors, therapy provides the potential for gaining skills, confidence, and new perspectives.

“One of the things I love most about being a therapist is seeing the resiliency of people. In the midst of facing various life struggles, I see tremendous strength in my clients. It is a privilege to help people discover their potential, and to watch them move forward with hope. The therapy process can ultimately lead to greater fulfillment and a renewed sense of joy in life.”
