Lynn Jones, M.A., L.C.P.C.

Lynn Jones earned her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College. Prior to joining Alliance, Lynn worked extensively in higher education with adolescents and emerging adults, utilizing both individual and group therapy to help her clients thrive. As part of this work, she has helped her clients explore a variety of issues surrounding depression, anxiety, identity development, vocation, women’s concerns, trauma, childhood, multicultural concerns, sexuality, and spirituality. Since 2018, she has also worked with individuals, couples, and families, serving children and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Lynn approaches her clients with care and grace, creating a space where they can be free to be themselves and work through difficulties. She hopes to help her clients feel equipped to deal with their current concerns while also allowing them to explore and understand themselves better.

“Counseling can be a scary thing. Opening up and being vulnerable can be intimidating. I feel honored to accompany individuals, couples and families as they courageously explore the tender and difficult spaces in their journey toward healing. Working together, we will walk towards the light at the end of the tunnel. My hope and prayer is that everyone that walks through our doors will feel more free to be themselves, more free to love themselves, and more free to love others. I see my calling as being a small part of this process!”

In addition to being a therapist, Lynn loves spending time with her family and going on adventures. When not at work, you might find her swinging in a hammock, working in her garden, or reading a good book.
