Lyndon Villasenor, D.O.,

 Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist


Lyndon Villasenor is a board-certified physician with specialties in both Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He graduated from the University of Chicago, Loyola University, and Midwestern University, and completed medical training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, American Psychiatric Association and American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.


Dr. Villasenor adds to Alliance a practice style that recognizes patients as unique individuals, treating each with humble respect, duty and compassion. He fosters preventative and collaborative medicine, and practices with an intention to address his patients' biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs, embracing both medicine and non-medicine therapies alike.


"My approach involves cultivating awareness of one's own values and gifts. I also enjoy promoting an active dialogue with my patients when tailoring individualized treatment plans, and what I hope unfolds are strategies that are multi-faceted, evidence-based, and meaningful."


Dr. Villasenor integrates both pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy in his practice. He specializes in ADHD, Adjustment issues, Anxiety disorders, Autism/Aspergers, Depression, Disruptive behavior, Eating disorders, Thought disorders. Tic disorders and various Parent-child/Family problems. Special interests include mindfulness practices and its application in healthcare.


Lyndon was born in Chicago and raised in the southwest suburbs. In his free time, he enjoys travel, sports, and playing the piano. Also, Dr. V enjoys volunteering throughout the community and staying active in his parish.
