"In my work with clients, I try to create a safe place in which they feel listened to and can explore their current life difficulties. I help them to look at their problems in the context of their own personal history and family-of-origin, with the goal of helping them to have a better understanding of themselves and to make the changes necessary to move forward with their lives."

Greg was a staff psychologist at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County for 26 years where he directed the mental health services for the Adolescent & Young Adult Clinic and coordinated the child and adolescent inpatient and emergency room consultation-liaison service. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and completed his internship and a health psychology fellowship at Cook County Hospital. Greg provides consultation to schools, holds workshops for medical residents, and provides forensic psychological evaluations for immigrants and refugees who are seeking asylum. He does evaluations and staff trainings on trauma for the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights at the University of Chicago and for the Physicians For Human Rights.
