Erin Griggs, M.A., L.C.P.C.

In the relational safety of another, healing and growth are possible. Erin’s desire as a therapist is to provide discerning care and life-giving insight to adolescents and adults who find themselves in uncharted territory. Questions like, How will I navigate this situation? Am I the only one? How can I move forward with courage? And, What if life never feels better? leave us feeling disoriented and ill-equipped. In the midst of life transition, challenge and loss, we have an opportunity to seek support and bravely open ourselves to new therapeutic skills and strategies which will educate and empower our next steps.

Erin’s areas of expertise include anxiety and depression, parenting struggles, couples counseling, identity and self-esteem issues, grief and loss, life transitions and spiritual/faith issues.

Erin’s past vocational life includes teaching middle school students, serving as an ordained youth and family ministries pastor, and receiving a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton Graduate School. Over the past 20 years, Erin has taught classes and seminars on parenting and marriage and provided leadership for adolescent and adult retreats. Erin’s own marriage and parenting journey provides her with an endless supply of humor, humility and opportunities for growth.
