Steve Lee, M.D.,
Psychiatrist
Dr. Lee is grateful and thrilled to be able to continue his ongoing outpatient practice at Alliance after nearly 20 years at Meier Clinics. He currently sees adult patients primarily dealing with depressive and mood disorders, a variety of anxiety disorders andADHD.
His background includes serving as medical director in both adult and adolescent intensive outpatient programs. Years of clinical practice has lent itself to a wider and more nuanced view of the realm of medication as well as non-medicinal options.
But at the heart of personal growth—for both clinician and patient—lies the journey through various challenges and dynamics, ultimately fostering a deeper appreciation for others. Dr. Lee values therapeutic relationships and is humbled to fill the role as a supportive therapist in many cases.
Dr. Lee graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and served as chief resident of psychiatry at Rush University. Although he has no degree to show for it, his most cherished role is as part-time stay-at-home dad of two boys. He also finds joy in caring for his family’s miniature poodle, two Siberian cats, a tank full of nano fish, and exploring a range of niche hobbies.
