Tracy Lee, Psy.D
Psychologist

Tracy joined Alliance in 2006 as a psychologist. She works with children, adolescents, and adults. Although she works with a wide variety of people, her passion is to empower kids to be successful in school and family life. She does this through psychological testing, therapy, and/or consultation with teachers and parents. Working previously as an elementary school teacher, Tracy’s work with children often involves collaborating with schools to promote development in social skills, behavior and learning.

"I love being outside in nature because it reminds me of God’s goodness as a creator and His desire for each of us to have wholeness and healing in this life."

Tracy received her master’s degree and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Wheaton College. She also holds a master’s degree in biblical and theological studies from Wheaton College. Her research interests are in meta-analysis, social competency interventions, and the promotion of mental health in Latin America.

Tracy has assumed leadership of our psychological testing services and has expanded our repertoire of child assessment measures to more fully pinpoint the underlying cognitive issues that may be causing problems in reading, writing, math and other subjects. Tracy says that with precise assessment it is possible to understand whether impairment in specific areas such as phonological skills, auditory processing, executive functioning, visuomotor skills, etc. may be getting in the way of learning.

Tracy has a rich background both as an educator and an administrator. Besides being an adjunct professor teaching child development assessment for the graduate school, she was Program Administrator and Director of Clinical Training at Wheaton College before coming to Alliance.

"Psychological assessment can be very strategic for children or adults who have tried various treatment approaches but continue to see less progress than desired. Psychological assessment can also jump start any treatment program by providing a detailed analysis of the individual and the most strategic treatment approach."

Tracy enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also loves to garden, picnic and travel.
