David Clinton, M.A., L.C.P.C
Therapist
David Clinton, M.A., L.C.P.C., joined Alliance in 2002. David received his training in clinical psychology from Wheaton College. Prior to his clinical training, he attended seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. David’s integrated approach to therapy offers clients the opportunity to make positive, long-lasting changes in their lives.
"People often choose to begin therapy because they feel overwhelmed or ‘stuck’ in some way, perhaps by their moods, their pasts, or present relationship problems. Therapy offers an opportunity for reflection that often inspires a greater sense of hope, insight and courage. This new perspective frees people to make wiser choices for their lives. For me personally, there is something deeply sacred about being able to be a part of the process."
David enjoys working with adolescents and adults dealing with a wide range of life challenges including anxiety and depression, attention deficit disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, relationship and family conflicts, trauma, and spiritual struggles related to mental health.
In his free time, David enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing the guitar and laughing as often as possible.
